Werona Cottage is a beautiful original 1930's two-bedroom weatherboard cottage, which has undergone a recent transformation by owners James Watts, Managing Director of rug brand Armadillo and his partner Tony. Porter's Paints colour has been used beautifully throughout.

Highlands was a fitting colour choice for the Southern Highlands property. Featured from floor to ceiling in the kitchen and dining area, the colour choice is sophisticated and bold, defining the space in the home. Eggshell Finish has been used on the walls and Aqua Satin on the cabinetry and trims.

James explains ‘The house gave me permission to be bolder than usual with my colour choices and the effect is very cocooning, regardless of season.’

Popcorn, the perfect classic natural white has been used in the living room and hallway. Beyond the doorway is the main bedroom featuring the rich moody colour North Sea

North Sea in Eggshell Finish features in the main bedroom.

A soft neutral scheme on the exterior of Werona Cottage features colour Salt Wattle in Eggshell Acrylic with Popcorn on the trims in Aqua Satin.

Werona is an Aboriginal word meaning 'quiet', an apt name choice for the peaceful countryside location of the cottage.
